Our October meeting focused on the importance of registering to vote and then going to the polls to exercise your right to vote. Speaker was Delores "Dee" McFarland, at-large member and vice chair of the Democratic Black Caucus. Ms. McFarland informed us of the "Black Agenda Think Tank" and their five initiatives: law enforcement, COVID-19, politics, education, the census and economic empowerment.
